I’ve long struggled with how the photography business communicates the services it sells. Perhaps I’m too honest, but I feel it only appropriate for clients to understand the investment they’re making, and what to expect along the way.
You’re embarking on a two-part experience, and with each part there are a number of different costs and scenarios involved. The first part is the Photography Session. The session could be a portrait session in our studio, an outdoor session at the park, an elopement, engagement party, rehearsal dinner or entire wedding. These all generally require different commitments on the part of the photographer, and so you’ll find fees for the session tend to vary by event from one photographer to the next..
To keep things simple, we offer a 2-hour session at a flat rate of $450 to cover any event type that can meet that criteria within about an hour’s drive of Maple Valley, WA. We’re happy to drive further or travel, but let’s discuss that over our 30-minute phone consult. Larger events can then be planned simply as a multiple of the 2-hour session, with an all-day event capped at $1800. We’ll add hair and makeup to any session for an additional $115.
The second part of the experience involves the selection, post-processing, color enhancements, retouching, printing, framing, binding or any other aspect of receiving the final products, and this comes with its own costs, separate from the Session experience. As our portfolio of products change frequently, we don’t publish this price list, but will be happy to walk you through those details when we meet for a consult.

Details
All session fees are paid at the time of scheduling and are non-refundable. The session fee is for the session only and includes the time and talent of the photographer. The session fee does not include prints, products or digitals.
Hair and makeup are offered for any of our session types for an add-on fee of $115. This fee will be paid directly to the stylist on the day of the session. Please inform us of your desire to include hair and makeup, and we will arrange for the stylist to meet you in our studio 1-hour prior to your session. You may also book your own stylist and meet them at our studio prior to your session if preferred.
Depending on your session type, you may have a product minimum. We have three product packages for each type of photo session we offer, but you’re only obligated to the product minimum.
High-resolution digital images are provided for every image purchased within our product packages. If purchasing products a la carte, the digital images must also be purchased a la carte.
